Pick one project where you made non-obvious decisions with measurable impact. Lead with the business metric you moved (e.g. "reduced chargeback rate 17% on Cross-Border Payments"). Walk through data, modeling choice (with explicit alternatives considered), evaluation methodology, and the production/operational consequences. End with what you'd do differently. Senior interviewers reward calibrated honesty: state what was lucky, what you'd keep, and what downstream system failed.

Then expect these follow-ups

"If you had two more weeks, what would you try?
" "What would the second-best design have been?
" "How did you know the uplift wasn't from another change?
