Can I work for a US company from India?

Many US and European companies hire people in India, and in the other countries on this page, as contractors or through an employer of record, a firm that runs payroll and benefits locally for them. Each country page lists only roles whose posting says it is open to that country, its region, or anywhere.

What does worldwide remote mean?

The posting says the role can be done from any country. We still leave out roles that call themselves global but list a single other country as their only location, because most of those are remote within that country.

How do you decide a role is open to my country?
