CodeSignal assessment that had three coding challenges, ranging from simple problems to moderately complex DSA questions. solve all of them completely, which helped me qualify for the next stage In the phone screen, the interviewer tested my DSA fundamentals through a string manipulation problem similar to finding the next closest palindrome, but with an added twist

First question was an array-based challenge where I had to rearrange positive and negative numbers alternately while maintaining their relative order, explained how I’d use two pointers to track the positions and swap elements in place to achieve the desired pattern Second problem, I was asked to design a system to track the first non-repeating character in a stream of data, i completed using a combination of a queue and a hash map to maintain order and frequency

In the LLD round, was asked to design and implement classes for a car rental system, i focus on modeling entities like cars, users, bookings, and payment services & explained how I’d structure the classes using oop's concept

Design a real-time notification system that alerts users when a stock price fluctuates beyond a defined threshold

Final round, managerial conversation aimed at understanding my problem-solving mindset, ownership, and team collaboration Some of the questions included

- How do you prioritize tasks when deadlines are tight and requirements change frequently?
- Describe a situation where you identified a performance bottleneck in your project, how did you fix it?
