I was recently selected by Texas Instruments through on-campus placement for the role of Software Development Engineer. I also have prior internship experience at a startup in my college, where I worked on the backend of a project.

    Technical Round60 min

    The interview began with a quick introduction. The round focused on DSA, where I was asked a dynamic programming question on grids (medium-level, similar to LeetCode). I successfully implemented the solution, explained my approach, and dry-run it on some test cases. The interviewer seemed satisfied with my explanation and code. Next, I was asked a development question. The interviewer shared a sandbox environment and asked me to implement a React component from scratch, along with some additional functionality. I implemented it, and the component worked live in the sandbox. After that, they moved to SQL queries, covering topics like ORDER BY and subqueries. Towards the end, the interviewer asked if I had any questions. I asked about the recent technologies Texas Instruments is working on, the tech stack used in development, and their work culture. The interview concluded on a very positive note, and the interviewers seemed happy with my performance. A few hours later, I received the wonderful news that I had been selected as a Software Development Engineer at Texas Instruments through on-campus placement!
