  • Arrays, Linked Lists, Stacks, Queues, Trees (especially Binary Trees), Heaps, and Graphs. Practice problem types:

  • Sorting & Searching algorithms

  • Dynamic Programming (especially related to string problems and optimization)

  • Greedy algorithms

  • Graph algorithms like Dijkstra’s, BFS, DFS

    Online Coding Test180 min

    The test was focused on Dynamic Programming with a single question. The duration was 3 hours, and the problem required a deep understanding of DP concepts. I spent most of the time trying to optimize my approach and ensure I covered all edge cases. I found it to be a challenging but rewarding experience.

    Technical Interview60 min

    This round felt very real-world focused, two interviewers grilled me on everything from DSA to multithreading to architecture. We kicked off with a coding question: find triplets in an array that add up to zero. I started with a basic approach and then optimized it using a two-pointer technique. That part went well. Then came into threading and multithreading, they wanted to know how I’d handle deadlocks, detect race conditions, and structure a clean multithreaded system. I leaned on my previous experience and answered with examples. Toward the end, we briefly touched on web development patterns and scaling. I explained how I’ve used MVC, built RESTful services, and worked on performance improvements in backend systems. It was a packed round, but also really satisfying.
