This round had two medium-level problems. The problem statements were a bit unclear at first, so I had to ask a few clarifying questions to really understand what was being asked. The first one was the Largest Rectangle in Histogram. The way the problem was presented was pretty abstract, but after asking for more details, I realized it was the classic largest rectangle problem. The second problem was a binary search variant, it wasn’t something I’d seen before on LeetCode. It was an easy-medium problem

Low-Level Design60 min
I was asked to design a car rental system.I started by defining core components such as Car details, Booking processes, User accounts, and Payment handling. I also showed how to build upon this for features like dynamic pricing and supporting different rental locations. The interviewer appreciated the structure but definitely pushed me on scalability and how I'd manage errors. Additionally, the interviewer asked a few project-related questions to get a sense of my past experience and how I’ve implemented solutions in the real world.

The core of this interview round was about cultural fit. It was all about getting to know me better and seeing if I'm a good cultural match for Porter. They asked 'Why Porter?', how I tackle tough situations and deadlines, and to share a time I really shined in teamwork or leadership.
