- It’s very common in PayPal interviews to receive slightly broken logic and be asked to fix or optimize it. Practice reading and debugging others' code too.

Online Coding Assessment60 min
This round had two main coding problems. The first one was from arrays and tested edge case handling more than brute force logic. The second was simulation-based and required paying attention to indexing and pointer management. I completed both within the time limit, and all visible test cases passed.

We started with a brief intro, then I was given a string-based question followed by a debugging task. Given buggy code that implemented parentheses validation, I had to identify why it failed on edge cases like nested mismatches or leftover characters.

I was given one medium-level question and then moved into discussion around my project work, how I collaborated with team members, and what I learned from a past mistake. Behavioral topics included:
