Interviewed with JPMorgan for SDE-3 position, the process included three rounds

Round by round

1
Technical Round 160 min
The first round started with typical behavioral questions about my experience, teamwork, and problem-solving approach. After that, the interviewer presented a code snippet and asked me to review it, provide feedback, and suggest improvements Towards the end of the round, I was asked few core Java questions, focusing on OOP concepts, memory management, and collections

Technical Round 260 min
In this round, I was asked to design a Skyscanner-like flight search system. The discussion around
- Designing APIs to search flights, filter by price, duration, or airline, and handle pagination
- Handling real-time availability and frequent updates from multiple sources
- Considering caching, database design, and scaling for high traffic

Technical Round 360 min
The final round started with a few behavioral questions, followed by in-depth discussion of my past projects. The interviewer brought back the code snippet from round 1 and asked additional questions related to concurrency, thread safety, and synchronization issues The round concluded with more core Java questions, testing understanding of multithreading, memory models, and best practices
