How it went

  • I also prepared for the DSA round using LeetCode and the Take U Forward DSA sheet.
  • Prepare for basics of the language you are comfortable in.

How to prepare

  • For study material for round one, I used the interview experience questions found on Take U Forward under interview experience. Also solved questions from A2Z DSA sheet.
  • I searched ChatGPT and YouTube for some current topics to help me get ready for the System Design Round, and the interview questions were also helpful.

Currently working as an SDE-1 at Whiteklay, where most of my work involves backend development using Python. My responsibilities include designing and developing RESTful APIs, and I have also worked on ETL processes leveraging Temporal.

Round by round

  1. 1

    Technical Round 1 - (DSA)60 min

    The questions asked were on basic python and a bit of data structure with basic sql and FastAPI creation.

    • Introduce yourself
    • What projects have you worked on?
    • Explain list comprehension.
    • Solve the question: Largest odd number in a string
    • Write list comprehension to create a list for odd numbers between 1 and 10.
    • What is the difference between a tuple and a list?
    • Do you know the syntax of dictionary comprehension?
    • Can you explain what a decorator is?
    • Can you explain what a generator is?
    • Let's consider a table of school; write a query to derive the first 10 names with the starting letter (as required).
    • Can you write the API using FastAPI, which will run the above-written query?
    • What is ChatGPT, and why is it named ChatGPT?
    • What is the full form of LLM?
    • Do you have knowledge about RAG LLM?
    • Any experience with generative AI?

    It was a high-level design round.
