The initial recruiter screen involved a brief discussion of required experiences and an overview of the interview process. The subsequent technical phone interview focused heavily on practical, hands-on troubleshooting scenarios, of which the candidate could only answer approximately half. The interviewers did not solicit background information and instead proceeded directly to technical questions, concentrating deeply on only one of the five suggested preparation topics.
