How to prepare

Always start by thinking about a simple brute-force solution. Then, discuss how to improve it. Interviewers love seeing structured problem-solving, not just correct code. For example, if it is a DP problem, explain the brute force first, then move to memoization or tabulation I practiced problems ranging from basic to medium level

    Online Assessment60 min

    OA on HackerRank had 3 DSA and 2 API questions, a good mix of logic and application

    DSA Round60 min

    The second round tested problem-solving skill, similar to the Celebrity Problem, an hour-long discussion where the interviewer genuinely helped me through hints and discussions

    HR Round60 min

    Then came the HR round, which I did not expect to be eliminatory, questions on my tech stack, current project, customer base, future goals

    Machine Coding60 min

    This round began with a discussion about my resume and current project for about 20-25 minutes. Then, I was given a low-level design (LLD) problem Problem Statement: Design a system for managing a shipping yard with infinite capacity for containers. The system should allow clients to add or remove containers, and support buying and selling operations with an order book to log buy and sell requests. The system should also handle bidding for each buy and sell request, making transactions based on the best offer. I implemented one API successfully and discussed the next one in detail, interviewer appreciated my design-first approach.
