It started with a short introduction, and then I was asked questions related to my resume, skills, and projects. And a coding question You are given a binary string and a cost array of the same length. You want to interleave such that no two identical characters are together and the total cost of swaps required is minimized. Find the minimum total cost needed. I recognized this as a dynamic programming problem, building a 2D DP table, tracking the minimum cost for the first k characters when the last character is 0 or 1. Edge Cases:
- What if all characters are equal?
- What if the cost to swap is zero?
- What if the string is a single character? I explained my logic, time/space complexity, and why DP is optimal for this scenario.
