I applied on the company’s website, and immediately after submitting my application, I received an Online Assessment (OA) with a notice to complete it within 15 days. I spent some time practicing for it and completed the OA on the 13th day. The assessment had two coding questions and some behavioral questions based on Amazon’s Leadership Principles. The total time for the coding section was 70 minutes, and both coding questions were easy greedy problems. 1st question: We were given a list of memory sizes and needed to create servers. For each server, we require a primary server and a backup server, with the backup server’s memory ≥ the primary server’s memory. We had to return the maximum total memory that could be assigned to primary servers. Example: Input: [7, 4, 1, 5, 2, 5] Output: 10 2nd question: This was a variation of the Assign Cookies problem
