   HackerRank Online Assessment60 min

   The test consisted of two segments Coding tasks and Multiple-Choice Questions. I solved 2 coding challenges and worked through MCQs on data structures, algorithms, and basic programming concepts.

   Technical Interview Round 160 min

   This round was all about coding, SQL, and theory-based questions. Questions:

   • Write a function that sums an arbitrary number of parameters.

   • What would happen if a string was passed instead? How would you deal with the error?

   • Check whether a string is palindromic. Theory:

   • What are the core data types in Python?

   • Explain decorators, with an example, and tell us where you would use them. SQL Questions:

   • Write a query to find out which user logged in most recently.

   • What’s the distinction between DELETE, DROP, and TRUNCATE in SQL?

   • And Window Functions also. API Theory:

   • Discuss PUT vs POST methods, and explain which one is idempotent. Behavioral:

   • Describe a time when you had to resolve a conflict during a release.

   Technical Interview Round 260 min

   The interviewer asked me to solve a problem related to Binary Search Trees (BST). I had to find the Ceil of a given number. I explained my thought process before jumping into the solution and then implemented it using recursion.
