Intro Round17 min
In the round, the interviewer first asked me about my studies and a brief introduction about myself. Then he asked why I was interested in Addepar and whether I planned to pursue higher studies. He also shared some details about the company, and since we both are into cricket, we had a fun conversation about the previous day’s match. Overall, it was an enjoyable discussion and I successfully cleared this round!

Coding Round60 min
The second round was a coding interview where I was given a stock market problem to solve in any programming language of my choice. I carefully explained my approach, wrote clean and efficient code, and successfully arrived at the correct output. The interviewer appreciated my problem-solving method and clarity of thought. After completing the coding task, he asked a few questions related to my resume and the projects I had worked on, mainly to understand my technical depth and practical experience. Toward the end, we had a few light-hearted and fun questions, which made the overall conversation relaxed and enjoyable. I was glad to have performed well and cleared this round too.

managerial round40 min
The final round was the managerial round. It began with a brief introduction, after which the interviewer asked me about the projects I had worked on. He then moved on to questions like why I preferred SQL over NoSQL and asked about my industry experience and the projects I had contributed to. The discussion later shifted to the non-technical side, where he asked, “Who are you without tech?”, giving me a chance to talk about my extracurricular activities and interests outside academics. He also asked me to share instances where I took the lead in a team or event, so I spoke about my hackathon experiences and one of the college events I managed. The conversation ended on a light note with a few jokes and fun questions. He was a very nice and talkative manager, which made the discussion feel more like a friendly conversation than an interview.
