Remote jobs in Nigeria

Yes. Many US and European companies hire people in Nigeria as contractors or through an employer of record, a firm that runs payroll and benefits in Nigeria for them. Every role on this page says it is open to Nigeria by name, to EMEA, or to anywhere. Confirm the contract type, currency and tax terms with the company before you accept.

Some do. Among recent roles on this board that list a range (about 16% of them), the median is $133k a year. Contractor roles often pay in USD; employer-of-record roles usually pay in local currency.

We list a role only when the posting says it is open to Nigeria, to EMEA, or to anywhere, and does not exclude Nigeria. Roles that are remote within one other country are left out, even when the posting calls them global. Each role is read from the company’s own careers page and checked daily.

Lagos shares most of the European working day, so EMEA teams are the closest fit. US teams overlap with your late afternoon and evening. Worldwide roles are often async. Each role shows its time-zone fit.
