Asst. Manager / Manager - Finance

Job Description:

• Performing ad-hoc business analysis and financial modeling. Presenting recommendations to

• category leadership on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives

• Work closely with the business team to drive critical business goals like vendor terms

• improvement (margin/credit), operational costs and contribute to Free cash flows

• Provide controllership to the business and build scalable processes that augments

• transparency and improves control.

• Manage financial planning and analysis, forecasting using the key input levers to the business.

• Facilitate reviews with data analysis and follow through with business team on actionable

• items for improving business metrics

• Work with the accounting team to drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial-book close

• processes for the category.

• Work with Director - Finance on building strong finance team in the company

• Supervise and monitor over the work of the accounting team of service providers and ensuring the work as per agreed TAT and quality.

• Handle all requirements of our Retail stores and cost finance aspects.

• Work closely with the Co-founder and Associate Director - Finance in special project

Required:

• CA with 1 to 4 years of experience in Accounts and Finance preferably from FMCG / Manufacturing / Retail major.

• Article Ship from top 10 audit firms (preferably big 4).

• Excellent knowledge of India taxation regime and Indian GAAP.

• Experience in Handling of Audits with Big 4 accounting firm.

• Experience of successfully handling Tax Audit and litigations with Tax authorities.

• Ability to provide business inputs and domain knowledge for Finance/ Accounting/ Taxation to Procurement and Supply Chain teams.

• Good communication and leadership skills .

• Experience of handling a team of at least 3 to 5 persons as direct manager.

• Ability to work under pressure with limited resource and tight timelines

• Experience of working in a venture funded company or startup (preferably but not mandatorily)
