Job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer with strong experience in manual testing and basic exposure to automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications, with familiarity in automation tools like Appium for mobile and any web automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure product quality

• Understand requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test data

• Execute functional, regression, and UI testing

• Identify, log, and track bugs using defect tracking tools

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues

• Assist in automation testing for web and mobile applications

• Develop and maintain basic automation scripts using tools like Appium or any other mobile automation tools

• Participate in test planning and review meetings

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

• Hands-on experience in manual testing (web and mobile applications)

• Basic knowledge of automation testing concepts

• Exposure to mobile and web automation tools

• Familiarity with any programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred)

• Understanding of API testing is a plus.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment

• Knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)

Soft Skills

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
