Management wants to increase the development team's productivity by 25%. How would you approach this problem?

To boost development team productivity by 25%, I'd start by establishing clear, measurable goals and understanding the current baseline. This involves analyzing key metrics like cycle time, defect density, and feature delivery speed.

Next, I'd focus on identifying and removing bottlenecks. This could mean optimizing workflows, improving tooling, or streamlining communication channels.

Investing in team skills through targeted training and fostering a culture of continuous improvement are also key. Empowering developers with autonomy and ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed will drive efficiency.

Finally, regular feedback loops and retrospectives are essential to monitor progress, adapt strategies, and ensure sustained productivity gains.
