We are seeking a Senior Test Systems Analyst to support the development, assembly, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support of electromechanical test systems used by Engineering and R&D teams.

This position will be responsible for developing and improving laboratory and engineering test capabilities, supporting the prototyping and fabrication of components required for test equipment, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, preparing technical documentation, and implementing automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a hands-on profile, with experience in electromechanical systems, CNC equipment, laser cutting, welding, electrical panels, instrumentation, and industrial automation. The professional must be comfortable working on prototypes, test setups, laboratory equipment, and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, assemble, commission, maintain, and provide technical support for electromechanical test systems.

• Support the design and prototyping of components required for engineering and laboratory test equipment.

• Support the operation, adjustment, and basic programming of CNC machines, including machining centers, CNC lathes, and similar equipment, when required for prototyping activities.

• Support laser cutting and welding activities, including MIG/MAG and shielded metal arc welding, for the construction and modification of test equipment and prototypes.

• Create 3D models, technical drawings, and basic manufacturing routines for prototype components and test equipment.

• Assemble and modify low-voltage DC electrical panels and electromechanical systems.

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electromechanical schematics, and technical documentation.

• Program or configure PLCs, digital controls, data acquisition systems, and other test automation solutions.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and automation-related issues in test systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on laboratory and engineering test equipment.

• Develop test system documentation, including assembly instructions, operating manuals, maintenance procedures, and technical reports.

• Document test equipment configurations, maintenance activities, engineering changes, and system improvements.

• Support the integration, commissioning, validation, and continuous improvement of test setups and engineering capabilities.

• Perform basic dimensional inspections using instruments such as calipers and micrometers when required.

• Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, and Software teams.

• Follow applicable safety, quality, environmental, and engineering standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing Processes, Mechanical Design, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

• At least four years of practical experience working with electromechanical systems, test equipment, prototypes, laboratory systems, or related engineering activities.

• Hands-on experience with CNC equipment, conventional and/or CNC machining, laser cutting, or welding.

• Experience assembling, modifying, maintaining, or troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.

• Knowledge of electrical panels, low-voltage DC systems, instrumentation, or industrial automation.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical or electromechanical schematics.

• Basic knowledge of PLCs, digital controls, data acquisition systems, or test automation.

• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.

• Ability to use basic dimensional measurement instruments, such as calipers and micrometers.

• Intermediate English proficiency — B1 level.

• Organization, attention to detail, technical curiosity, and operational discipline.

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary Engineering and R&D teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience developing, assembling, commissioning, or supporting engineering test systems.

• Experience with test automation, data acquisition, instrumentation, or laboratory equipment.

• Experience with CNC setup and basic CNC programming.

• Experience with 3D modeling and prototype component design.

• Technical training from SENAI or a similar institution in Machining, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Manufacturing, Electrical Systems, or a related field.

• Experience documenting engineering changes, equipment configurations, maintenance procedures, or technical manuals.

• Familiarity with Brazilian industrial safety regulations and applicable NR standards.

• Experience working in R&D, engineering laboratories, prototyping environments, or custom-built equipment projects.
