Our client is the team behind a fast-growing thought-leadership summit and event series exploring the intersection of AI, technology, and human potential, drawing thousands of founders, researchers, and industry leaders to a multi-day gathering each year. The organization is built around a distinct founder-led voice, and produces a steady stream of talks, interviews, speaker sessions, and conversations that need to be turned into compelling content year-round. As the event and its community continue to scale, the brand needs a dedicated content engine to keep its story alive between events.

Why does this role exist?

This role exists because the organization sits on a growing library of talks, interviews, photos, quotes, and reports that currently outpaces its ability to turn that raw material into consistent, platform-ready content. The founder sets the overall voice and gives final sign-off, but needs someone to independently own execution — turning existing and new content into daily social posts, creative assets, and newsletters across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and email. Ultimately, this hire exists to build and run a content engine that operates with minimal hand-holding, so the brand's story keeps reaching its audience consistently, at volume, and without sacrificing quality.

The Impact you’ll make

Content Sourcing & Story Development

• Conduct and record conversations with founders, speakers, guests, and other relevant individuals
• Identify strong stories, insights, quotes, and moments from conversations and the existing content library
• Ask strong follow-up questions to extract compelling, usable content

Content Creation & Creative Production

• Create and QC short-form video clips, graphics, thumbnails, and other creative assets
• Write captions, posts, newsletter content, and supporting copy in a clear, conversational, human voice
• Maintain strong visual, audio, and brand quality across all creative output

Multi-Platform Publishing & Content Repurposing

• Turn individual source assets into platform-specific content packages across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and email
• Maintain a consistent daily social publishing cadence
• Manage newsletter production and distribution on a regular cadence

Content Operations & Workflow Management

• Build and maintain repeatable templates, naming conventions, and production workflows
• Manage the full watch → record → create → approve → publish pipeline
• Keep the founder and relevant stakeholders aligned on upcoming content and approvals

Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor engagement and content performance, adjusting strategy based on results
• Identify bottlenecks and proactively improve the content production process
• Make production faster and more efficient over time

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required:

• 2+ years of hands-on content production experience spanning social content, short-form video, creative assets, copywriting, and newsletters.
• Strong editorial judgment, with a demonstrated ability to identify compelling stories and moments from long-form content.
• Hands-on short-form video editing and social-first creative production experience.
• Comfortable using, or quickly learning, AI/creative tools such as Opus Clip, Descript, Claude, Canva, Figma, or CapCut.
• Able to independently produce content at high volume while managing and improving content workflows.

Your superpowers are...

• Technical skills: Short-form video editing (CapCut, Opus Clip, Descript, or similar)

• Copywriting and newsletter writing in a clear, conversational voice

• Creative production using tools like Canva and Figma

• Comfort with AI content tools (Claude and similar)

• Content operations: pipelines, approvals, naming conventions, publishing schedules

• Performance tracking and using engagement data to inform content decisions

• Soft skills: Sharp editorial judgment and strong creative taste

• Proactive and self-directed — able to spot inefficiencies and fix them without heavy direction

• Comfortable conducting interviews and drawing out compelling answers

• Strong ownership mentality and ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment

• Comfortable working directly with founders, executives, speakers, and senior stakeholders

• Genuine curiosity about AI, emerging technology, and human potential

WFH Set-Up:

• Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
• Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
• Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
• Back-up computer and internet connection
• Quiet, dedicated workspace at home

Work Setup:

• Remote position
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
• Required to provide own computer with Intel Core i5 or something similar or higher operating system

Working Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• 5:00 AM–1:00 PM Pacific Time

Compensation:

• $7 per hour
• No benefits package included
