Job Summary

The Back-End Python Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable back-end services and RESTful APIs. This role requires strong Python development skills, experience with databases and ORM frameworks, and the ability to build reliable applications using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and focused on delivering secure, performant, and maintainable solutions while continuously improving existing systems and staying current with modern back-end technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain back-end services and RESTful APIs using Python.
• Build scalable applications using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and other teams to ensure smooth system integration.
• Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications.
• Proactively identify opportunities for technical improvements and best practices.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and modern back-end development practices.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in Python back-end development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API development and best practices.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases and ORM frameworks.
• Proficiency with Git and software development best practices.
• Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI is preferred.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and task queues such as Celery is a plus.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Pytest is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and microservices architecture is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a willingness to take ownership and continuously learn.
