Building a fantastic network is essential to HAA’s success. This role will build and run the school’s entire external partner network - including the companies that hire our students, the partners who fund and resource them, and the recruiting partners who help us find the next class.

This role is part dealmaker, part relationship manager, and part problem-solver. One day you’ll be negotiating with a Fortune 10 CXO, the next you’ll be figuring out how to get a student access to the lab they need to do genomics research.

We already have a great list of partners that you’ll start working with, from day one:

• Our founding partners - OpenAI, Palantir, Stripe, Anduril, Replit, NVIDIA, Anthropic, Coinbase, Meta, and Google
• 50+ hiring partners who will offer co-op programs and full-time opportunities to our students
• A network of recruitment partners with access to the best high school students in the country, who can help identify and refer them to us

In this role, you will:

• Build a pipeline and scalable system to engage hundreds (or thousands!) of hiring partners at the leading tech companies of our time
• Create a philanthropic and investment network of partners who will provide grants or investment to HAA students
• Negotiate with partners and ensure they're getting real value from their relationship with Horowitz Andreessen Academy
• Come up with creative solutions to meet students' needs - e.g. if a student is trying to do genomics research, build a robot, launch a satellite, or create a new type of LLM, you'll help procure the resources to make it happen

This is a complex role. We're looking for a highly effective communicator who can manage diverse external stakeholders, and who's excited to build something from the ground up. It's also senior enough that applying through the website won't get you far - please find your way to me directly.
